Barnet Knights, North London’s premier junior chess club, is the perfect club to develop your game.

We meet at Garden Suburb Junior School, Childs Way, London NW11 6XU (Click here for a map) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Mondays during school term.
On most evenings children have a 30-minute coaching session in one of 5 ability groups, followed by a recorded game. The game is rated with the English Chess Federation. After 9 rated games have been played your child will get an official English Chess Federation rating so that you as a parent can assess improvement. Where possible the children’s games are analyzed by one of the chess teachers or a stronger player at the club. Members range in age from 5 to 18 and include players of all abilities, from absolute beginners to accomplished champions.
The cost is just £15 per visit. Discounts available for paying a term in advance.
Weekly Sessions are set up as follows:

| 6.00 – 6.30pm | Coaching split into 5 groups: Beginners, Intermediate (rated 0-1140), Advanced (rated 1141-1440), Rated 1441-1674, and Rated 1675 and over |
| 6.30 – 7.30pm | Competitive game rated with the English Chess Federation. Trophies awarded at the end of term for the best performances |
